It isn't often that I walk into a wedding and find something new but Steve Bean was something new for me when I first worked with him at a 2005 wedding.

Steve describes himself as a freelance classical guitarist but don't be surprised to hear some Paul Weller, David Gray or even Led Zep's "Stairway To Heaven" in his repertoire !

His excellent guitar work provided background music for the service and during the reception meal and it certainly made a refreshing change from the norm.

Steve's a real easy guy to get along with and, if you're looking for a little individuality on your big day then I'd put him at the very top of your list without a moment's hesitation !

Boasting membership of both the Magic Circle and Equity, it was no surprise to see Stripey Wipey taking total control of his captivated and sizeable audience of youngsters, not only giving parents a much needed break but also refuelling the enthusiasms of the youngsters for the evening's disco.

I only saw the first of his two sessions but the entertainment was out of the top draw and completely satisfied the hopes of the couple who employed his services.

Something different and well worth considering if you've got a big kiddie presence on your big day !

The team is spearheaded by main man Graham Crane who, along with his colleague, deliver the goods in an unobtrusive and very relaxed manner.

One neat touch of note was that Graham monitors the live coverage being delivered by the main camera not through the camera viewfinder but via a digital monitor thus providing a much more accurate way of reviewing the image that you are eventually going to see.
